Results of a Search:  Looking at Brief Records

Let's examine the results of a FirstSearch search.
Every FirstSearch database will have different results, but the look is similar.

Here are the results of our earlier CINAHL search for "nursing ethics" in the Subject index.
Our CINAHL search will retrieve records from the CINAHL database (mostly journal articles).
First we'll see the brief records that show:

1. the item's title
2. author
3. year of publication
4. title of the source, usually  a journal

Our search found over 4,000 records that have the words "nursing" and "ethics" in their Subject.

Next we'll look at the Full Record of an item.
