More on Searching by Subject . . .

The WebPAC catalog allows you to simply click on the subject heading in an item's record to find more materials on the same subject.

Sometimes when you are searching by author, title, keyword, or subject; you come across a book that is exactly what you are looking for. There is an easy way to find all the other items in the catalog with that same subject heading.

While searching for information about the dangers of smoking, you come across the following record:

You decide this book is perfect for your paper and you need a few more items just like it. Clicking on [View Record] will show the full record where you can see the book's Library of Congress Subject Headings.

As shown in the sample page below, when you click on one of the three Subject Headings, WebPAC will pull up all the other items in the catalog on that same subject.

Any text in the catalog that is blue and underlined is a "hyperlink." You can also use the hyperlinks to find materials written by the same author.
